No one should spend Christmas alone, so it’s heartwarming to see various organisations getting into the giving spirit by hosting FREE Christmas lunches across Durham, as well as offering food parcels and other support.


Free meals for children, 20th December 2019-6th January 2020.

Pact house are offering free meals to children every day over the Christmas school holidays: 

Make Lunch Chester-Le-Street , Monday 23rd and Monday 30th December 11am-12.30pm  


Cornerstones Centre for the Community, North Burns, DH3 3TF 

(Chester-Le-Street Methodist Church on the Market Square) 

Activity club including making and enjoying a hot meal for all the family. Make Lunch is for all the family, so a parent or carer will need to stay with their children.  Older and younger brothers and sisters are welcome too, including toddlers and babies.
