ROAD Navigator for Groundwork NE & Cumbria, Alison Soulsby, represented ROAD at the Natwest Rugby Force Family Weekend held at Eden Hill RFC this weekend. With a stall set up from which to offer advice, Alison had a fantastic day in the sunshine, even having some time to look at some of the shows on offer.
ROAD Participants continue to enjoy their weekly coffee, cake and chat sessions held at PCP. Navigators from across the Partnership bring along some of the individuals with whom they have been working for a social gathering, and so far, feedback has been fantastic!
Angie Cooke, Health Trainer at Pioneering Care Partnership, is to begin running two 10-week Participant sessions, working with Specialised Psychotherapist, Rob Hawkes at Therapy Made Easy. Durham Community Action Navigators, Karen and Tara, are running a FREE CSCS Construction Skills Taster Session for ROAD Participants on Wednesday 21st June. The Navigators will be joined by Financial and Digital Coach, Catherine from The Cornforth Partnerhship. There are two sessions in the day, both held at Glenholme Centre: 10am – 12pm and 1pm – 3pm.
