From time to time, ROAD Staff may wish to move into other roles within the Programme, or find alternative employment. As the Programme progresses, there may also be a requirement for additional staff. When this happens, job vacancies may become available, which will be detailed below.
Financial and Digital Inclusion Worker
Hours: 37 hours per week
Location: Bishop Auckland with travel accross the County
Duration: Fixed term contract funded up to July 2019
Salary: £20,708 per annum
The role is fully funded by the European Social Fund and the National Lottery through the Big Lottery Fund
An exciting opportunity has arisen at Citizens Advice County Durham to deliver financial and digital advice and support to people looking to get back into employment.
Reaching Out Across Durham (ROAD) which launched on 31st October 2016, is an exciting social-inclusion Building Better Opportunities Programme in County Durham, which is funded by the European Social Fund and the National Lottery through the Big Lottery Fund until July 2019.
Working in partnership with 11 voluntary and community sector delivery partners who are specialists in employment, financial and digital inclusion and volunteering, ROAD will support 625 long term unemployed people into or towards employment.
